POSITION SUMMARY

The Training Coordinator provides administrative, office, learning management system (LMS) support to the department manager and to their assigned program. Possible programs the Training Coordinator may support include: Contractor Acquisition University (CAU) and/or eLearning. This position is responsible for assisting program team members to develop and deliver training programs according to NTC procedures. This position will be the main point of contact for all customer service requests. This position will serve as a backup training coordinator for other programs on an as needed basis.

*NOTE: This position falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA).

Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

• Coordinates, tracks, and monitors training and special program assignments, schedules, meetings, and conferences
• Documents and distributes meeting notes
• Schedules meetings, conferences, and events
• Supports all training development and delivery duties according to NTC procedures.
• Routinely carries out recurring duties and assignments
• Establishes, organizes, and maintains printed and electronic records to Records Information and Disposition requirements.
• Serves as the primary customer service point of contract for internal and external customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of writing/editing techniques sufficient to ensure that the level of concepts, expression, and vocabulary are appropriate for the intended audience.
• Thorough knowledge of English, grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation.
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills sufficient to produce error-free documents and training materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal and team skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals
• Initiative, including ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply general office practices and procedures.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Defense/War (DOD/W) installation access which will involve obtaining a DBIDS card
• Participation in IB3's Workplace Substance Abuse Program (WSAP) which includes random drug testing

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION(S) REQUIRED

• A high school diploma or G.E.D.
• An Associate’s degree from an accredited college, university, business, or technical-vocational school, preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Two or more years of administrative support experience related to or comparable to the position, preferred
• Familiarity of NTC Policies and procedures
• Experience supporting government (ideally DOE) agencies and programs, preferred
• Knowledge of computer security practices and procedures.
• Ability to screen various types of documents and to verify the accuracy and completeness of data in source and supporting documents or reports and for tracking and correcting discrepancies.
• Ability to maintain master database, make arithmetic computations, make adjustments and special entries, and reconcile master database with source documents and project data.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Position is 100% on-site at the NTC Facility at Kirtland, AFB, Albuquerque, NM. Remote work is not permitted.
• This is a salaried, non-exempt position. Overtime hours must be expressly authorized in writing by the IB3 Program Manager
• Some positions follow an "AWS" schedule where some weeks will be four 10-hour days with Friday off.
• Ability to sit for long periods, regularly talk and converse with co-workers
• Candidate may be required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Candidate may occasionally be required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
