Position: Telecommunications Manager
Location: Hybrid - North Lamar Austin, TX. 78752
Duration: 9 Months plus
Job Summary:
- Lead the implementation and optimization of SD-WAN solutions.
- Utilize network monitoring and observability tools such as ThousandEyes and AppDynamics.
- Oversee integration of security solutions, including Secure Workload, NGFW, and identity services.
- Coordinate and manage vendor relationships, services, and contracts for network operations.
- Ensure all network activities comply with agency security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in and support change management processes, including documentation and approvals.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering, Data Center, Telecom, and Security teams on cross-functional projects.
- Provide regular status reports, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans for leadership.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for network architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and continuity planning in preparation for the return of the permanent Network Services Manager.
