### **Role Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented **QA Engineer** to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our POS and payments platform. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to validate functionality, identify defects, and support the delivery of high-quality software in a SaaS environment.
### **Key Responsibilities**
* Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
* Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
* Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira
* Validate web, mobile, and API functionality
* Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
* Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and reviews
* Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman
* Conduct data validation using SQL and database queries
* Support automation efforts by identifying test cases suitable for automation
* Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices
### **Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* 1-4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
* Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing processes
* Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
* Basic knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman
* Familiarity with SQL or database validation
* Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* High attention to detail and organizational ability
### **Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
* Experience in POS, fintech, or payment systems
* Familiarity with CI/CD processes
* Experience working in SaaS environments
