We’re looking for our next product designer to help lead design projects from idea through implementation and launch. You’ll help set the early design culture, finding the right balance between speed and process in a hyper-growth company. We often don’t have time to run a traditional design process, so you will need to be fast, flexible, and adaptable. Above all else, you should be focused on designing the best solution and building the best product for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Invent novel UI/UX for next-gen Generative AI products

• Contribute to overall product direction & feature decision-making

• Run end-to-end design projects, working closely with engineers & other stakeholders through implementation & iteration.

• Create features and novel UI/UX improvements that can be executed quickly

• Create flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups

• Work closely with product/engineering/GTM to design features & products

• Work with engineering during implementation (actually get in the code to touch up CSS or contribute to implementation yourself)

• Help with establishing the early design culture and process within the company

Qualifications

• You create amazing designs quickly

• You're highly autonomous, curious, and entrepreneurial at heart

• Excellent aesthetic taste

• Passion for building best-in-class products to solve real customer pain points

• A strong portfolio demonstrating product design, UX, & visual design.

• Figma expert

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively to meet constraints

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you have to take extreme ownership to push forward

• You're extremely collaborative

• Experience with programming (minimum HTML/CSS) and using technical tools like GitHub

• 2-5+ years of experience in product design at VC-funded or growth startups

• Experience in designing in B2B / commercial environment

Bonus

• Previous experience at early-stage startup

• Frontend development experience beyond HTML/CSS (we use React & TailwindCSS)

• Understanding of the finance services landscape (investment banking, PE, hedge funds)
