Job Description

We are recruiting a Power & HVAC Mechanic to join one of the largest equipment rental providers in the world. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing mobile generators, HVAC systems, and dehumidification/air purification equipment in a safe, professional manner.

The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and is motivated to grow into higher-level technician roles while delivering excellent customer service.

Position Offers

• Up to $35/hr depending on experience. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on generators, HVAC systems, air quality equipment and other diesel engines if needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on rental and customer equipment
• Travel occasionally to customer sites to support equipment service needs
• Demonstrate equipment operation and functionality to customers
• Assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience maintaining generators and/or HVAC equipment
• Intermediate diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic systems
• Basic ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams
• Own tools relevant to the position
• Willingness to work in a safety-sensitive environment
