Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter / Make-Ready Technician to join our multifamily apartment community in San Antonio. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property while assisting with apartment turns and move-in preparations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of grounds, breezeways, parking areas, and common areas
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the community
• Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• Perform touch-up painting and minor repairs as needed
• Replace air filters, light bulbs, smoke detector batteries, and blinds
• Assist the maintenance team with general tasks and property projects
• Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns to management

Qualifications:

• Previous apartment, porter, janitorial, or make-ready experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
