Church Overview:
First Baptist Church of Ross is a Southern Baptist church committed to biblical preaching, discipleship, missions, and reaching our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are prayerfully seeking a pastor called by God to shepherd our congregation and lead us in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Responsibilities:
• Preach and teach the Word of God
• Provide spiritual leadership and vision
• Shepherd and care for the congregation
• Equip members for ministry and evangelism
• Lead the church in missions and outreach
• Work with deacons and ministry leaders
Qualifications:
• A clear testimony of salvation and calling to ministry
• Meets biblical qualifications for pastors found in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9
• Affirms the Baptist Faith and Message
• Strong commitment to biblical preaching and discipleship
• Seminary training preferred but not required
Pay Package:
Salary and benefits will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, and full-time or bi-vocational status.
